National Handwriting Day, January 23, 2010
Pentel of America is celebrating National Handwriting Day on January 23, 2010 by having a contest. Describe how you declare your independence, what independence means to you, in 500 or less handwritten characters and submit to Pentel of America. Five (5) people will be chosen by Pentel and given their own Independence Day. See Pentel's website for the contest rules and information.

Sent 'em a postcard, PB! A FP "re-discoverer" (I guess you'd say), I used a Jin Hao Evening Stripes loaded w/ Private Reserve's Velvet Black. The torpedo-shaped ES suits me. The postcard's stock is sort of semi-glossy, and took the ink well. Very minor smudging only w/ direct pressure. Good idea, Pentel! FP manufacturers, are you listening? Jack/Youngstown
ReplyDeleteIt would be even better if Pentel offered at least a token prize, but maybe they'll change their minds. :)
ReplyDeleteWhere're the penmanship 'n' calligraphy folks on a handwriting promotion like Pentel's? Any thoughts? You're right, PB, Pentel's contest as of right now seems to not have a prize. Jack/Youngstown
