American Cursive Handwriting @FPGeeks
Check out this blog post by Fountain Pen Geeks on Michael Sull and his American Cursive Handwriting, a 349 page guide to traditional cursive handwriting in the US. That is amazing, I'm thinking of ordering the Reference guide.
Watching Michael Sull kicked me into thinking of all those hand-lettered price signs you used to see on paper in grocery store windows, on card stock in department stores, etc. When you stepped close, you could see the penciled guidelines.
Anybody else recall those? Did the signmen use markers or artists' brushes?
Pretty impressive video using white ink.
